Most policies go like this: If you want to sit up front, you need your passport for CASS. If you want to sit in the back, you don't. Occasionally they don't ask for it when I need to sit up front, but I would say 80% of the time they do.

ok cool, hopefully i will have it sent back renewed in a few weeks. i am planning airtran for the weekend as loads look light and will just sit in the back. hopefully they dont charge me.
