Sorry its off the topic, but this is the newest Eagle post...
Two questions... 1. Do you think a regional would take into consideration past employment with them. I have 7yrs with MQ as a station agent. Would that help in getting hired? 2. Would refrences from MQ pilots help? If I put both of these together would they help in getting an interview with 25-30 hrs shy of the 400 their looking for? I will have about 370-375/50 |
Meeting the minimums and passing the interview would help
Having an internal rec would help working for them as a station agent they probably would not care about Get a friend to reccomend you, they will then probably call you and invite you to interview, tell them your hours and see what they say. |
the lowest new hire's tt is 290!

Ae
Lowest eagle new hire time is actually 195....141 Bridge program.
Getting DFW and a jet and being young isn't out of the question. I got the CRJ (age 30) and another guy in my class also got it (age 23). It's all craps. The older guys all picked the ERJ. Why? More lines and in their eyes better QOL. I didn't have a choice. All that was left was 2 CRJ slots. |

you may as well just go to dallas and take whatever they give you if you want to be in dallas. there is no difference for the first year. the second year theres a $5000 pay difference so then you should switch to the jet. I would assume that you could get a line alot sooner on the saab in dallas than the jet there. The extra expierince can only help.

Ref the times....I'm at 303/103 and am in a CRJ Transition course now, was told as soon as I complete the class, I would be eligible for hire (I'm also a former employee).....and Eagle has a deal with ATP if you pass the CRJ course, and then after your hired and pass Eagle training, ATP gives you back $5,000K from your CRJ Course......(I'm guessing AE is paying that to ATP, but if AE gave it to the employee that would be considered a sign on bonus which could then be faught by the union). Remember ALPA just fought and won the fact that AE was paying pilots 150% for overtime vs the contractual 120% rate of pay......(it was a principle issue, which I totally understand, and will force AE to hire more pilots and address the staffing issues). Now if they could use that much energy to win the fight of the "flow thru" agreement, everyone would be happy and get along!!!!:D |

It helped him out and he had several pilot references. |
Now who told you that they were not hiring in LAX- I was just (2 weeks ago) told by an FO that they are looking for people at LAX---who to believe
