University City is the best place to live in the St. Louis area hands down.

What Soulard isnt good enough for you?

Soulard is cool but U City is just money! If I were going to live in STL (lived there for almost three years), U City would be the place.

I thought you would fit in better in the Central West.

should also look at maryland heights and creve coeur, there are some nice apts in those areas. I was born and raised in bridgeton, which used to be a great neighborhood, it's not as "nice" as it was, but it's still not bad, nor dangerous, etc....St. Ann can be questionable in places, but it's still not high on the "you're gonna get shot" scene.

I heard Sauget and Washington Park were nice this time of year ;)
