Wavit, thanks for clearing things up! I had hope since we were supposed to continue to hire, but things are looking bleak with classes cancelling.

I still have some hope. It is not unSkywest like to not hire until right when a big announcement is to come out. IF one does I don't think it will be until late 3rd to 4th Q this year.

Last I heard it had slowed to 10-15 a month. I think more people are staying put until things at the majors look more solid. Plus with Southwest not hiring that takes a bunch of people out. Most of our attrition was to Southwest.

Ok here is the official scoop. On the Jet we have the current class and the one coming up. After that there will be no classes in April, May, or June. The Bro will be about th same. This is how it is for now. Staffing levels are back up where they want them and they don't want over staffing. If they keep interviewing and fill the pool I would not let this keep you from applying. As for right now we are in wait and see mode.
Is this just new hire classes or are the jet transition classes going away for awhile as well? I have my bid in for transition, wondering how its going to affect me.
