In our interview class, we had 2 offered the conditional letter on the grounds that they take the RJ course. One had 550/85, the other 400/60. It all falls on the Captains Review Board to make the final decision on who gets hired unconditionally and who gets hired.... well, conditionally. When HR called one of the guys to tell him his file had passed, they told him he would need to attend the RJ course because he hadn't flown in the past two years. So, it could be for many reasons, not just low mult time.

Does anyone know anything about the actual 3 week course? All I can find on the websites are the 7-week courses. I'm just trying to get info on what the curriculum is and what the differences are between RAA and FlightSafety.

I'm sure it's good training and all, but if you just got up to 500 hrs and then applied to a lot of other places, instead of spending 7 weeks @FSI, then 7 weeks in training at AE, you'd already be on the line after just 7 weeks of training at any other regional...no extra 7 weeks.

You're times are 550/50. Shouldn't you be able to justify doing whatever they ask of you for the opportunity with such little experience?

I'm just wondering if anyone has info on the courses. Any personal experiences? How can I best prepare? Etc...
