I have one question: Why on Earth would you go to a place like Colgan when there are other, much better regionals who are hiring?

And you're basically flying a DC-9 for 1900 rates

Well you are flying a SAAB for less than half what a city bus driver earns... careful not to fall when you step off your soapbox

Hey where are these bus driving jobs? I'll go do it for twice the money. I also seriously think that being a train engineer would be cool

Same people with the same gripes........ let it go, pilots will continue to come to Colgan if the company has something that they are looking for such as living in base or quick upgrades. Yes, those of us that work here know the pro's and con's. None of us will be here longer than we have to be and it's a lot better than sitting right seat for 5 years at some other regionals living out of base. Are there not better topics to discuss or ways of helping pilot candidates find the answers they are looking for? It's wasted energy to whine about an airline you don't even work for! Worry about your own company.
