Quote from KiloAlfa
I grow tired of hearing people talk about how they do "real" flying because they fly a T-Prop.. when in reality they have no experience piloting a jet aircraft to base such a pompous hypothesis . That is why I gave the harsh response. Having gone from the SAAB to a jet, never once have I considered myself not to be doing "real" flying. Each has their challenges and it is quite ignorant of TP drivers to label themselves as the only "real" pilots left. Maybe it's just their TP pilot insecurity coming out, I don't know. End Quote Calling any 121 flying "real flying" is like calling my kid's finger paint the Mona Lisa. flying from unimproved strips lit by smudge pots, no radar coverage, no radio IFR, aerial firefighting, aerial application, and a dozen more I can't recall.... THOSE are real flying |

real flying is when you have wings, an engine (jet or prop or rotor) and you leave the ground under power......... not real flying is when you jump off a cliff or out of an arplane.....thats falling not flying...... enough said :P
