Deadheading pay (PSA)
#1
Ok got a question. I have a deadhead on my schedule to go from my base to CLT. But i commute and CLT is a nonstop flight from where i live. So i called up crewscheduling last week and told them that i wasn't going to deadhead and i'd just meet up in CLT. After that i checked my schedule and it still showed me getting paid for the deadhead. But that trip ended up getting cancelled because my IOE CA called in sick.
Well now i have two deadheads on my trip for next week and i called up crew scheduling and told them the same thing and they now said that since i'm on reserve i can't get paid for it, yet if i were a line holder i would. So i'm confused... Which one is right???
BTW this is at PSA.
