Everyone,

There is no need to use profanity to make your point. Use of the F-word in any way, shape, or form will get your post removed. This includes implied use - intent counts. We're trying to keep the forums professional and would appreciate everyone's help to make it happen.

As always, send a PM to the Admins (HSLD or Freight Dog) if you have questions or comments on any APC policy. Thanks!

Hope all of you Mesa guys reading this are happy. You got some jet time in your shiny jet, these people with families are on the street. Hope your compensation is worthwhile.

Congrats JO. A third-rate "businessman" just succeeded in tearing down one of Hawaii's biggest and most historic companies. I sincerely hope that Aloha can reinvent itself after it wins all of Mesa's assets in the upcoming lawsuit. Oh...and the Justice Department can throw JO's butt in jail too.

If Frank Lorenzo got banned from the industry, JO should be banished from even looking at another airplane again.

My thoughts are with the men and women who made Aloha a great airline for 61 years.

Hopefully we'll see those colors in the sky again.

Sorry to hear about Aloha. Flew on them plenty of times when I was a kid. Always held a special place in my heart.

Here is to all the crews and family of Aloha....you'll be missed and all my best wishes

Had a fellow classmate here at SkyWest just started with Aloha on the B737 on January 7, 2008.

Wonder if she even got to fly the plane ?

From now on, the two airlines of Hawaii will be Hawaiian, and Mesa. I don't know what to say to the people of Hawaii, except........... sorry.
Island Air is the only interisland carrier that has been actually regularly turning a profit (albeit very small) since this whole thing began. I think they will be fine. The only Aloha service they currently use is ramp contract services, and that will not only be their problem alone; several mainland carriers use Aloha's contract services, too. Hopefully Island Air reopens it's outer island stations and rehires some of the ramp workers who will be displaced by Aloha's passing.

Best of luck to all of the Aloha employees. I've flown Aloha numerous of times and definately was a pleasurable experience every time.

Mesa/GO to increase flights in Hawaii due to demand and Aloha's demise.
