Not bankrupt, liquidated

If you live in ORD, is it still really that bad as far as not commuting?

Ok, mandatory junior manning? Does this mean you have to work on your days off it they call? Our jm only work if you pick up the phone. If this is true than ***, over?!?!?

Oh they will force you into more than that! Mesa is by far the worst career choice any pilot could make.

Often times, they just put the JRA in the remarks section of the dispatch release. It's usually a short message: "CA/FO ______ you are JRA to flt 1234 ORD-SAT. Please call crew tracking prior to departure."

You can call them and tell them you are happy to accept the assignment, or you can tell them you are unavailable to do the assignment. If you choose the latter of the two, you will be marked unavailable for work and transferred to a chief pilot (if one can be contacted). You will repeat the conversation you had with the tracker verbatem to the chief pilot and you will be off the hook. This does not go on your PRIA record.

That is how it works.

We have ORD overstaffed, and new planes coming from Bombardier....we'll be able to pick up their flying easily.....

....hell, we already do anyway!!!!

I prayed for the pilots and they're families long before the whole GO! mess.

Jetjockey,

Everything except noted ***** is absolutely true.

Many Skywest pilots were trained and built their initial 1000 hours with YV/ZV, those instructors must be doing something right...right??

That's nothing more than intimidation. I hope guys as dialed in on how to handle it as you are. Do you at least get time and a half for JRA?

Theroetically yes but good luck actually seeing it on your paycheck without alot of effort and arguing.

Intimidation is how Mesa treats their people. You have no idea how crappy life at Mesa is.
