Mesa ?

Sorry for the stupid question, I live abroad and I want to know why MESA is not well like? Please, keep it professional.

Seriously, OF ALL DAYS to ask this question...this sounds like flamebait, you being overseas understandably has lead to your horrible timing - Mesa just put Aloha Airlines out of business TODAY because of its illegal practices.

Are you serious?

No Block or Better
50% dead head
SSHHIITTYY cancellation pay that turns into no pay at all
No trip or duty rigs
No daily guarantees
Mandatory JR manning
8 days off for reserves
Majority of pilots only get 10 days off
$1.25 per Diem
1 hotel room on some CDO's
Don't ask of time off, you won’t get it and if you call in sick you'll have to visit your CP
Freedom "A"

And Orenstein at the helm, this is the guy who said "as long as there are resumes on my desk, pilots are overpaid." Also keep in mind that Orenstein has a criminal history and is currently being investigated. He also duped Hawaiian into opening the books, then shortly after he started Go!. Hawiian filed suit and now Mesa has to pay $80M plus fees and he’s one of the reasons that Aloha is folding.

Other’s can probably go deeper but that’s a few highlights.

BTW, its not Mesa that's hated, its Orenstein!

Where exactly do you live "abroad"?

If it's Europe, think Ryanair, only worse.

Nope, no questions. I was just asking, because if you lived in Europe, or have friends that do, or you worked for Ryanair, or had friends that work/worked at Ryanair, it would answer any questions you have.

You forgot no block or better. Nothing like sitting on the ramp at ORD for three hours, having half of your day cancelled and then getting paid for only one leg.

Who thinks they will be bankrupt by the end of the year?

Thanks, corrected and I hope they're more than bankrupt but I wish the best for their pilots.

More important question.....who PRAYS they will be bankrupt by the end of the year?

We have ORD overstaffed, and new planes coming from Bombardier....we'll be able to pick up their flying easily.....

....hell, we already do anyway!!!!
