PHX flying
If Mesa goes belly-up sometime in the next year, which is becoming more and more of a possibility by the minute. . . any speculation as to who might get the PHX flying?

But it could really go to anybody, depending on what airplanes they want there. The original 900 presence was conceived pre-merger, not sure how important that is in PHX today since they moved a bunch of them east post-merger. |
The most brilliant move would be for Horizon to move down there since they wanna stay west coast. But AAG drags thier feet more than a drunk seal so I doubt it would happen.

My opinion is that SKW will get the majority of the PHX and LAS flying with RAH taking the rest. I also see AWAC and PSA picking up the slack out east. |

I am sure your right.
I'm head back to the Bro where I will be bidding and hopefully holding the best 121 flying in the NATION! That's PDX and SEA. IMO and I've been based in FAT, DEN, SLC, TUS and ATL; PDX flying is the best, bar none! |
The last thing they need is Another regional feed. I would expect to see it covered by a combination of expanded WO's (maybe PDT will finally get their 400's!), AWAC, and Republic.

And I'm not talking about what make sense the airlines don't do. The argument that US doesn’t need another feeder doesn't hold that much weight when you look at many factors, one being the ability to whipsaw while limiting ones restraints. |
