Help me choose?

Ya' know, seniority is everything, so until you get on somebody's seniority list, more and more people are getting their names ahead of you on the list. Whoever you can start building tenure with soonest, go for it. If it's not for you, then you can always change. That's my $.02 (I guess since this is my second post on this thread it would be my $.04, I hope that's acceptable)

Doesn't matter where you go, its so unpredictable. One minute the company is growing and hiring the next you are on your ass looking for a job.
Just go with your gut, the who offers a job, and has a base where you are willing to live.

Regional airlines are pretty much all the same. It's like two homeless people arguing who's box is better than the other.
It's ultimately your choice, weigh the pros and cons to each regional, see who's hiring and who's not. Are you going to wait for skywest to hire because they are the "better" regional (currently not hiring) or are you going for american eagle who is hiring, but their upgrade times are high.
Good luck with your choice.

Eagle really sucks.
However, CAL is taking 69 planes awy from XJT next year, so you could get furloughed. But by then you should have enough time to go to any regional. Or maybe EXT will keep their planes and you'll be in great shape.

The upgrade time at Pinnacle is just under 2 years but that time is increasing. The biggest reason Pinnacle is hiring so many pilots is because so many are quitting/leaving....many are junior and bailing for different regional jobs. Because of NWA's issues I would avoid pinnacle. If I were looking for my first job I would probably try for Skywest first.

Express Jet is parking 69 jets this year. Jion Air Inc.@ 1-800-538-5627. They are a great outfit that will educate you on all airlines and where they are going. There is no good regonal to go to any more these days! Go Fractionals unless your a CFI building time.
