Do NOT forget to go out and stretch your legs once in awhile though!! That is probably the most important thing you can do for yourself in training. Drop the book, take a ride, a walk, whatever...go have a drink and clear your head once every day or two. You'll go mad otherwise.

I'm not sure what happened to those guys, but most of the ones that were lost in my new hire class were of the mind that they went to "xyz school" and didn't really NEED to study. (Or spent most of their time drinking instead of studying). If you bust your ass, there's no problem passing. But you really DO have to bust your ass...

I don't know why some people think training was a nightmare. Maybe they aren't that motivated or maybe they are expecting the company to hold their hands and spoonfeed you through. They give you what you need to know, and there is plenty of help available. Now I do agree that our training can seem pretty draconian at times but its TSA.
