that part is true. I recall sharing a van with a UPS crew that was complaining about how they have to fly their old antiquated DC8's.. So the CA I was with told them, they could have his MD11 and he'd switch with them on the 8, and their paycheck and work rules.. Silence.

Yeah but it gets really old after a while. If you had any grounds to really complain then I would understand.

Lets say as an example, you were once a 747 captain making 300,000 a year and now you are a 757 captain knocking down 150 an hour. Then I can understand a constant barrage of complaints.

But seriously, all spooled does is whine and complain about being a regional pilot. Go get another job. Pick another topic. Why didn't you go to another airline?

I don't care honestly. But it is tiresome to listen to those that vent about THEIR choices. YOU made them. YOU live with them.

If you think you could be a doctor go for it.

You're not the sharpest tool in the shed are you? Are you the guy I saw with the "Jet Pilot" lanyard on the other day? If so, those "Guppy Killer" stickers are your flight bag are AWEOSME.

Whatever. You are just silly. You're complaints have merit but all you do is cry wolf. I have no idea what a "Guppy Killer" is so you can have that little chuckle.

I don't have to prove to anyone I fly or have flown jets. Been there done that.

I just think you could do something besides whine and tell everyone how entitled to a better life you are. But unfortunately you chose this and now are unhappy. Get a dog or a therapist.

In a day and age where oil is record high, airlines are losing money at record paces you ***** about having a job. Do the math on that one.

Nope. Scholarships. Two years at the AF Academy. I don't owe anyone a dollar. It also helped to have a 747 Captain as a dad, back when they paid well.

And yeah I love life. I own a boat, got my truck paid off. No credit cards and zero tolerance for whining.

BTW. I go to a therapist monthly - I think everyone should do it. It keeps you healthy.

Yeah, besides the full ride athletic scholarship and academic ride Daddy paid. He was actually relieved as it cost him less than 5 grand to get me through college.

I don't plan on being a regional pilot forever but in the mean time I can supplement my income by taking drills with my ANG unit.

Perhaps then I can afford my Kobe beef and smile at all the clever folk out there.
