Default Crew member refuses to deboard

As we were taxiing to the E gates at CLT today, my captain and I overheard on North Ramp Freq. that a Republic crew member was refusing to leave the airplane at the gate it was occupying. Anyone know what the deal was? It was probably something minor but it was hilarious nonetheless.

Neither the pilots or flight attendants can be junior manned at RAH.

Stop using the word de-board. How about de-plane, disembark, egress or anything else.

Were they sitting on the tarmac when the pilot refused to deboard?
