Default Colgan Interview Hotel?

Wondering where is a good place to stay around LGA that you don't have to mortgage the house for? Any suggestions?

Got the interview for 26-27 Feb!!

You can try using the hotel Colgan uses to put people in on overnights (if they do that). I know they used to put us up in the Clarion. Right across from the airport. Try talking to someone at Colgan, see what hotel they use.
Also, we stay at the Ramada acroos from Shea. Don't know rates, but some other airlines stay there too (Air Tran, USAirways)
Good Luck!

They told me that the Best Western was where they could get the $100 a night rate from flightsafety. I'd like to keep it cheap as well. Do you know how many people will be there?

[freezingflyboy]"You could sleep on a bench in the subway"

Apparently all the good ones are booked months in advance...Maybe next time...

Have no idea how many will be there, I guess 2 at least...

As for places to stay, I got a room today on Expedia at Clarion La Guardia for just over $118 after taxes and fees . Benny about there is complimentary shuttle to both airport and FSI as well as Continental breakfast. Those things alone should save a few bucks!!

See ya there!

That'll probably be where I stay. It looks good enough. Is there anything that is going on Sunday night, or is it all Monday? On the phone she made it sound like there was something that will happen on Sunday, but the interview gouges I've read all pretty much say they do it on one day rather than over two.

Usually Colgan will fly you in and out on the same day. No need for a hotel room...unless something has changed. Ok, I see the interview date is the 26th-27th. Call your contact and ask them. Colgan usually is pretty good about arranging for hotels and transportation. The only reason they would fly you in on Sunday is if there isn't a flight into LGA in time for Monday morning.

Nope. I'm wrong. They're planning a big group and it will take two days to get it done.

In my conversation with Mr. Colgan he said it was too much to try and do everything in 1 day, so it is 2. Sim and test on Sunday and if you are asked to come back on Monday it is interview, whiz quiz, fingerprinting and stuff.

They will send you a plane ticket but it is your responsibility for Hotel. There have been 24 invitations sent out for interviews this weekend, unknown how many will show.

See ya'll there...
