It is not a rumor that some newhires are going over 40 hrs IOE, its factual. I have heard of at least one who approached 75 hrs. This is of course a result of hiring low time pilots.
However, as other options disappear for potential newhire FOs then Eagle will get more selective if they continue hiring and the whole problem will disappear.
Think about all the trained pilots that are about to be furloughed at other regionals- maybe Eagle is just stalling until some of those guys become available?

Maybe, how long ago did you apply? I'd double check the AirApps system and make sure all of your info is correct. Eagle is strange, they're very picky even with a shortage of qualified applicants, so anything out of the ordinary might ding you. Further, right now I'd imagine new interviews are probably on hold due to the apparent possibility of schedule reductions.
Good luck!

Make sure you have a first Class medical or airapps will mark you as not qualified. Good luck.

I feel your pain. 2800 TT 800Turbine 1600ME 880 FE. Interviewed 5/14 got the conditional offer only to have it rescinded the next day. It was an enjoyable interview.
My first class lapsed to a second. I got the first class physical on Wed and got the invite letter on Monday. Good luck!!!

If you're referring to squawkoff, I didn't get the job. Initially I got the letter of conditional employment only to have the offer rescinded the next day. I know one of the guys that got hired had less than a 1000. I want to say 600 total. I had only flown about 60 hours in the last 6 months and that was all in my Bonanza. Maybe they wanted more current time in multi's. Who knows????

I heard today from a very good source that AA is cutting down on their flying by almost 15%. This reduction of flying is going to be passed down to Eagle, and that’s why new classes are being put on hold. I would suspect that hiring at Eagle will all but come to a stop if the price of fuel keeps going up.
