Yeah, if you paid the fee and got the receipt, I would update the application right away. I got my permit in the mail in about 6 days and I live in the middle-of-nowhere, ND.

Just got a call, but not COMAIR. Just my mechanic asking about the plane.

Warped sense of humor I know, hee hee.

 

LOL...that is so messed up. My phone is fully charged, ringer turned up, and I'm clicking "Comair Interview" every 5 seconds. How sad. Watch them not make any calls today. They're actually gonna wait 7-10 days for us. How excruciating that would be.

 

I guess right now no news is good news. The guy who did my tech on the 10th said that I should get a call by the end of the week. He said that they usually say 7-10 days but thats usually not the case. I had a friend a while back (few weeks ago) that interviewed on a Tuesday or a Wednesday and they called him on a Sunday. So keep those phones close even tomorrow. Good Luck!!!

My hopes are going down and down by the minute. I'd say if I don't get a call by tomorrow, I'll start thinking of plan B , but I'm NOT staying in ND any longer.

none of you have heard from them yet. and even when Art does call, he makes it sound like he's about to reject you. I don't think he does it on purpose, it just sounds that way.

I talked to the captain that interviewed me (because she also taught my systems integration) and she said that they FREQUENTLY take up to 7 days to call. If by day 10 you haven't heard, your rejection letter is probably in the mail...

and yeah, they do call on weekends.

 

I interviewed on May 22, and got the call on Memorial day. Unfortunately I was on a cruise in the Caribbean (hahah, nothing unfortunate about that). I knew it was the call, and my cell phone rang, but it was 4.95 per minute on my phone to call shore. The stress of waiting all week was insane, but the cruise certainly balanced it out.
When I got back I set up a class date that let me finish all my students up, July 7. Now I wish I took the June 23 because all my students know Im leaving and are slowing down flying!!!

My biggest concern is getting in before the bottom gives way and they start cutting classes or anything like that. I check the threads every day to make sure all is well at Comair!! Scares me that everyone but us is in crazy hiring fiascos....
