There are alot of good pilots at mesa. Most are good friends of mine. JO should have been booted a long time ago. Wish all the pilots there the best of luck.

Just a reminder that as of Friday, MAG only refered to a Chapter 11 filing, not a 7, so they could reorganize and emerge from Chapt 11...

When Mesa files Ch.11, there is a chance that they can successfully reorganize and emerge from bankruptcy. If Mesa is able to reorganize and emerge from bankruptcy, they will only be a small shell of their former self.

Air Midwest will be gone.
Freedom ERJ's will be gone.
GO! will be gone.
And there may be a shakeup of the current UAL and US Air flying.

Have you seen United's RFP? I don't think United and US Air have that much faith that Mesa can reorganize successfully. I think the lack of cash is going to ultimately do them in.

Also, does anyone know

How long the United flying contract is for?

How long the US Air flying contract is for?

How long the Delta -900 flying contract is for?

I am primarily looking for the date the contracts are up.

AWA(Airways) is up in 2012...I believe DP has already made his intentions clear on that.

UAL is not much longer than that IIRC.

JO deserves this more than anyone. I hope you guys ride this one in hard, don't let management blameshift this on the pilot group. Management had their chance to save Mesa and they blew it, like the hundreds of other things in the last few years. RIP Mesa.
my research project is complete.... i am now thoroughly convinced that you are officially the biggest ninnyhammer (thanks bill) on APC. congratulations... i guess it just comes naturally for you… the rest of us are truly envious of your talents.
