Comfort Suites all the way. Nicer place, free breakfast and I think its the same price.

At the end of your interview call the hotel shuttle and they will take you back to the airport, SkyWest does not provide a shuttle.

Candlewood no longer does their own shuttle to the airport. It is contracted out, which means they bracket 30 minutes to actually show up.

Not recommend.

Comfort does have their own van.

So you interview, get hired, and placed in the pool. You continue with your life by continuing to work at your current regional or CFI etc and if it does not pan out in the pool, nothing lost.

It is a good idea if you are at a questionable regional (mesa, XJet) so swim in another pool so if your airline were to furlough you are already in a pool when the swarm of unemployed pilots hit the market.

Hey RPCV what date did you choose? Im interviewing on the 19th. Really excited as Skywest has been my number 1 pick for some time now. Anyone recommend the Sim preps up there in Salt Lake, American Aviation I think it is?

I used them before my interview. I've never seen an ATC 8something sim before so I thought it'd be a good idea to get a little practice in first. they did a great job.

Red Baron in Santa Barbara also has a Frasca 142 sim, and there is at least one SKW pilot who works there.

I used both Bill J. at SunRise Aviation in Orange County, and Red Baron.
