So tell me again how only flying 50 hours a month and on pace for $28,000 for my first is not that much better? Once I get on 2nd-year pay I'll be on pace for $36,000-$40,000 a year, all while flying 50 seats around.
$36,000-$40,000. Congratulations. Nothing against you for making the "big-bucks."

Oh yea, I heard that kool-aid joke in the 4th grade. There isn't any regional out there to write home about. Did you get the memo that express jet will close four stations and cut back its branded scheduled service by 30% due to poor load factors and rising fuel costs. Here comes the furlough list....

Yes you do. I have lots of sources that fly for the majors and they keep telling me the same thing. This is the stepping stone. Build time now. Rather have a thousand hours in a jet, then in a piper warrior at UND.

Who says that working for pinnacle is a crappy regional? I have good friends that enjoy working for pinnacle. They are enjoying their quality a life.

All those guys is a pretty broad definition. Tell about a few. Some people live life without regrets. Everything happens for a reason. At least they have a story to tell to their next employer.

Once again....the kool-aid joke...grow up. Also, I know of ONE person who has upgraded since working at Mesaba for a year and a half.

I'm not bashing anyone that chooses where they WANT to go. That's their own life. Just don't make yourself sound like your a genius for choosing express jet over Mesaba and Pinnacle. And YES I do understand. I grew up in an aviation family, and guaranteed I know a heck of a lot more than you'll ever know.

ExpressJet closing four stations and cutting Branded 30% is a huge reduction for ExpressJet? Dude, do you even know how big our Branded operation is? 30% of our Branded operation is less than 5% of our entire operation. Plus our Charter division is growing.

Oh, and ExpressJet is something to write home about, as are a bunch of other good QOL regionals out there.

So you're saying you would go to GoJets if you needed to? That is despicable.
Only have a 200 hours in a Piper warrior sport. My flight instructing time is split between 15 different aircraft, so not sure where you think I taught at UND.

Well that just pretty much sums up everything about you.

I also think Mesaba is far better than Pinnacle in terms of QOL, yet you keep clumping them in with Pinnacle and continue to makeit seem like I am bashing Mesaba? The only thing bad at Mesaba is the -900 pay, other than that it is far superior than Pinnacle.

Dude...once again, why do you care sooooooooo much about what is going on at Pinnacle/Pinnacle-bashing tpersuit? I would think you would get your jollies bashing on non-union Skywest who tried to bully you into submission, or Chataqua who started to infringe on your CAL turf, rather than Pinnacle, who has NOTHING to do with you or your job or your life.

Did a Pinnacle pilot hook up with your gf or wife or something? Seriously, that's the only way I will be able to understand your apparent need to keep talking negatively about a company that doesn't really have any relationship to your company whatsoever.

See, this is where you guys go off and have no idea what I am talking about. This all goes back to some user saying how great Pinnacle is for their completion % and on-time, all the while there still is no new contract and I was suggesting that you guys should take a note out of ASA's contract negotiation and "Fly-Safe" - if you even know what that means. I made a joke about ALL OF US AT UND BEING TOOLS, myself included, and then you guys take it WAY OUT OF CONTEXT.

The only ones that need to sit back and take a chill pill are you guys. You are arguing with me about things I was never really even getting into and now I have to continually come on here and correct you guys since you KEEP PUTTING WORDS INTO MY MOUTH. Obviously you have no thick skin and look at the whole situation first before you go off.

I honestly can see it now, some of you guys are carrying things I have said on here into the cockpit and are saying:
"This tpersuit guy is a jerk! He is all over the forums, bashing us and saying we suck!"
other pilot: "Wow, this guy is terrible, this is all I'm going to think about now while I fly, some punk on Airline Pilot Central, while I should be really thinking about safety while I fly this airplane"

better work rules. Maybe you should talk to a Mesaba pilot sometime and compare. They have very similar work rules that we have at ExpressJet, even some that are better. They are very comparable to the other regionals with good QOL work rules, just their -900 pay is low.

Okay. Give me examples of their work rules?

It is the fact that Mesaba has 8 hour airport reserve periods while Pinnacle has 4 hour periods?

hahaha. i was thinking the same thing. if you go to a skywest thread he is fighting and flaming there. come to a pinnacle thread and he is fighting and flaming here. none of his post have anything even close to being worthwhile to this board. every where he goes his flames follow.
