That is a great comfort to the hundreds of fellow pilots who just got their walking papers from XJT.

There isn't a regional out there that isn't hitting the skids out there right now. XJT (Closing branded operation...furloughing hundreds), Comair (losing flying...furloughing hundreds), Eagle (losing flying...furloughing hundreds, Mesa (y'all know), Republic (losing UAL flying...furlough coming, TSA/HoJet (Losing AA flying...furloughs coming), ASA, Skywest, etc. etc. etc. etc. Maybe it is time to give the Mesa bashing, etc. a rest and keep your eye on the real issue. Will your individual airline survive this crisis? Unfortunately, many will not and that will mean a whole helluva lot of good people out on the street looking for flying jobs in really challenging times.

For those who are have gotten or are now getting their furlough notices, best of luck to you. For those who are still employed, do all you can to help fellow furloughed airlines pilots get hired at your airline. The Cessna 150 Flight Instructor can wait a little longer for his shot at the ring. Help out those who are furloughed FIRST!

I agree completely!!!! I am new to this forum, but not new to the industry.

All my fellow brothers and sisters in the industry are hurting right now, or will/may be hurting in the very near future. Anyhow, I pray for each and every one of you out there, pray for your airline, and the well-being of your families. It's gonna get ugly, but know there are some of us praying for you, even if we do work for one of your competitors.

I'm glad to have a job flying pipers and teaching people how to fly, I'm still shocked to see people wanting to learn to fly and actually think about going to the airlines in the near future...hmm...hopefully I'll be first before my students. if that ever happens

Good one.

I figured people would assume Mesa was better due to nothing but the stock price.

Nowhere did I mention any ill will towards you guys. I'd rather be screwed by Delta every once and a while, than by JO everyday! Oh that's right I already had that on a daily basis for several years at MAG! I have nothing against MAG/Freedom pilots or employees, just the management.:)
