Is he going to pull up people even if he didn't need them or be happy he suckered another pilot group into a meager 12 year cap? I fly with guys and ask how long they've been here. I've talked to Captains who were hired in 2001 and furloughed. I talk to guys who were hired in the mid 2000s and they were bit by the recession or age 65. They chose to stay at the regional versus some of their buddies who got hired at United then furloughed for 4 years.

You know what every single one says to me? "Yeah, I figured I'd be here for a few years, upgrade and then go to a major. I planned on being here 5 years at most." Over fifteen to twenty years later and many are too close to retirement to be able to accept the QOL and paycut. You're going to punish them because you want yours? Glad that you aren't afraid to step on someone's back to get ahead and completely ignore history.

Are you kidding?? Most of our senior guys are voting for this. It ensures them the ability to retire at PDT. 300 pilots and the top 100 have over 15 years and up to 35 years. Top 100 maybe 35-40 will flow depending on fleet factors.

Why didn't you guys get the 70 CRJ900s and 150 E175s guaranteed to you by voting in your Ch 11 contract? Seems stupid to vote that in and then in return see your future go to other airlines.
