Glad to see the TSA isn't the only government agency too busy looking for water bottles to actually look for the important things.

Ya, the best that I’ve personally seen, is that a TSA or security agent has to come out and inspect our fueler in RDD. I've actually seen a fueler get in trouble for having an Arrowhead water bottle in the truck. I don't know about you guys but I'm not worry about a 20 oz water bottle when the guys driving around thousands of gallons of jet fuel?

If anything happens…………………….he’s going to need all the water he can get.

Upgrade. How is the ride to ATL from FAT?

Not bad at all, just long. My seniority on the EMB allows for me to hold decent paying 4 day trips that are almost completely commutable from ATL seeing they begin and end with deadheads (makes it a 1 leg commute seeing I only have to go to LAX or SFO) plus I gain 3 hours moving east to west as well as all the red eyes from LAX/SFO/LAS/PHX/SLC & DEN coming home. I get off tomorrow in SFO at 9 am and will catch the 11:10 am UAL FLT back home. For August I got 15 days off with 91 hours of pay and 4 completely commutable 4 day trips....................SWEET!!!!

I also have to say "Thank You" to all the airTran crews, they have been absolutely unbelievable and if it wasn’t specifically for them my commute would be much harder.

BTW, how’s the pic? My sim partner (Kimball H) didn’t get the memo about being in complete uniform so he showed up in cords and his pilot shirt. They used my black leather jacket to cover his khaki cords in order to make them look like black pants. He also grew out this corny mustache (specifically for this photo) and wore a black tie with a knot the size of Texas (IT’S HUGE!!!). His personal photo on Skywestonline is a real trip (kind of like a 70's disco look)! LOL! It’s classic.

Midwest Express doesn't allow items in seatback pockets other airlines don't mention it that I js on.

The F/As at Republic have been harping on the seat back stowage since we got our certificate. I guess the FAA was crazy about it three years ago, but it has taken this long to filter through the system and into established training programs. Personally, I love watching business guys stick their laptop in the seatback pocket, only to have the pocket fall apart and their laptop go crunch! Is it really that hard to put your laptop back in its case?

Pinnacle CRJ's have been like that for a while now, it was an FAA thing. But I havent heard the FA's harping on it as much recently...
