Default no news at Colgan

So I came to work on Monday (IAH) with people saying that there's going to be some big news coming out of Colgan this week. Its close to the end of day on Wednesday and still nothing, has anyone else heard anything?

I heard the same thing and nothing either. My guess and only mine is that they are going to announce the parking of the 10 Saabs instead of the 5 they first told us about. It's in the 2nd Qrt earnings, but the company has said nothing thus far. What does it mean? Who knows.
I'm curious to know

Apparently loosing the entire US Air side, but again that's just speculation. They have not said anything to us.

As long as B.C. is in charge of you guys you will continually lose money. His record at PCL was abysmal and before that his big success in life was being a scheduler at Eastern with no management experience. Besides, the reason why PCL bought Colgan was to piggyback on the numerous codeshare agreements with airlines other than NWA. Since oil prices went sky high that has not worked out for them either as the majors decrease frequency and lower seat availability to increase yield and RASM.
Best of luck though, I hope things get better and you become part of the very large disfunctional family known as ALPA. That is about the only protection you will have in the next five years.

Im not knocking Colgan, I actually liked it there. Im knocking the industry and how it fleeces young pilots who they know they can take advantage of. Trust me I am still in the same boat and feel that there needs to be some sort of reformation from within, and unfortuately the unions dont have our back either, they are just big business looking for big bucks. It just seems to me that some of these regionals are way too unstable for the money they pay and the uncertainty of having a job is it worth the stress???
