Yeah, but that's because they don't know any better, or they just don't care. There is nothing to brag about at Colgan.

Not just Colgan. I have saved many new Colgan FOs who have walked into the crew room on day 1 with upside down stripes. They just dont know any better because it is the first time they have ever put on epauletes. I know that colgan guys are not alone on this one. Not a protest, just naivety.

Side note: I was in PWM last night also but got there at 2pm and was out at 6:05am.

Who cares....Also, I have never heard any 900 guys running around bragging about their plane. Its complete luck of the draw what plane we got assigned as new hires as far as I know. In fact, most 900 FO's I talk with wish they were on the Saab because thats where they will most likely upgrade to.

I wasn't trying to hate boys. I was just wondering if there was some significance to uniform deal.....I reckon ya'll need to calm down.

Should they say that the 900/"9" is a piece of junk? I hear a lot about how great the Saab is(I've never flown it). But as soon as a 900/"9" guy says that he likes his airplane, people take it personally, like a dis on the Saab/Tree Fo or 200/"2". From what I have heard, its a pretty nice plane(Never been on one).

They can call it whatever they want. You know what they are talking about if they are an XJ FO.

Wow, I know the newer breed was hired before they could really fly, but I didn't know they couldn't dress either.

Really guys! Did you have to wear stripes when you were CFIs? I had to wear a tie for years until I switched schools. Maybe instead of slamming their apparent lack of maturity you could do what someone surely did for you - mentor them and look out for them.
