Just got official word from HR today that I will be in the Saab. Hoping that I will get MSP based. Looking forward to flying with some of you! In case anyone is interested, I was hired in March and sat in the pool for a while. Total time around 1,500, 110 multi, 10 turbine. When I was hired I was at 1,100 total, 60 multi and am currently a CFI. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity at this time.

Any news on class dates after October? Any information leaks, or is everyone still waiting until the 23rd for the "big announcement"? Are people still getting called for interviews? If I do not get called in this cycle, what do those of you who work for Mesaba suggest I do? Do I just keep updating my resume regularly? Is there even a chance of getting called with 900 TT w/ 150 multi? From what I have read to this point, Mesaba is my first choice right now. i wouldnt hold my breath about any "announcement" |

Got the call today for an interview! Anyone interviewing on the 30th? How soon after the interview do you find out if you got the job? How soon do you typically get a class date?

I think it took me about 2-3 weeks to be in CASS. You are in class anyway so shouldn't be traveling anyway :rolleyes:

There were additional days of interviewing recently added... probably after you scheduled.

I interviewed Sept. 16th and got a call today confirming my background check was done and they assigned me an October 6th class date. You get a conditional offer of employment after the interview. They said they would be mailing out some info and my FOM to study before class starts. |

They offered me the 26th or the 30th, I took the 30th because I have three instrument students that have their checkride on the 29th. |
