There's a difference between Aviation and a Woman ...
With a woman, you're going to end up paying to get pleasure from her for the rest of your life somehow or another ... dinners, clothes, jewelry, flowers, etc.
With aviation ... you pay out the a$$ up front, and then eventually you'll actually get paid to get pleasure from it ... if you stick with it long enough, you'll come out ahead in the end!

Bought it at EAA Airshow this summer because a friend of mine said I had to buy it. Absolutely stellar movie. I've watched a few old movies on TCM and have recognized the airport. Yeah life may not be as good as the "good ol days" but it's all about what YOU make out of it. The documentary shows it wasn't all peaches and cream for those folks as well.

16R should be required viewing for some of the Captains here LoL...somehow they've come under the impression that to be Professional in the Flight Deck means that you must never, ever enjoy your Job
