Yes, it passed today by almost 30%. It comes out to around 6.7% pay cut spread out over 9 or so months. Oh ya some 800 pilots did not vote! Very sad that they had something else to do rather than vote for their future.

Thats crap, I can't believe that many people didn't vote. Hope that they get that money back in the future.

It works out to about the same as not getting your longevity pay for one year and then getting a fraction of it back next october, another regular raise next DEC and then your longevity as normal from here on. a 2.6% cut intially then a 3% cut over the course of a year with a 2.8% raise in october + our regular raise DEC 1st next yr. confused yet? it is my opinion that they could have asked for a lot more.

Capt and Fo's will still be in the top three for compensation of the regionals and most importantly our work rules will be untouched. While it sucks to give it up i voted yes in the hopes that it will allow us to come back and fight another day... if our company makes it.

Not directly. But many have stated they will need to work about 4-5 extra hours a month to make up the pay difference. That equates to on average 1 additional day of work, or rather, 1 less day off to make the SAME amount of money.

Depending you your perspective, it can viewed as a passive QOL concession.
