WOW that was fast that statement is now longer there.(on wikipedia)

when I posted the oroginal first post it was still there, this really doesn't make sense...

No kidding. Not to mention that US Airways already flies E190s with their own pilots and have a pay scale. The only way this would even happen is if they got around scope, because I can't see how limiting the seats on the E190 for non US Airway's pilots to fly them would be cheaper than filling the seats to the max and sticking with US Airways pilots.

with a fleet of 23 E190s in their own house, I just can't see how it would be economical to outsource them when you look at how much they pay their own pilots on the E190. Remember RAH would want to make a guaranteed profit. Why would US Airways not just stick in house and keep the profits to themselves?
