I read their minimums are 75 hrs in last 90 days. Is that a hard requirement?

Credit for recent 121 PC, total time, etc?

thanks

Yeah I would imagine that the 75 in the last 90 days isn't that big of a deal. Especially if you are coming from 121 experience. It might be more for people who haven't flown at all in like 6 months to a year. Some guys who are coming from reserve at a 121 operation might not have flown 20 hrs in the preceding 90 days.

Yea but does a computer know that? Judging by all the small questions I'm guessing the resumes show up according to some kind of preference specified in a system. Or are the resumes hand picked??

Many people who work here now haven't flown 75 hours in the past 90 days . .. . .

This is just my personal oppinion, but the 75 in 90 minimum might be applied to the lesser time pilots. I think if you've been flying around 121 and have a couple thousand hours, it would be nothing to get back "on the bike" so to speak. People that have under a thousand hours might have a steeper learning curve if they have been out of flying for a while. I think this may be a case by case basis...

I would imagine that there has to be some human interaction with the process. It's not all computer generated. Just too many small things that could slip by like this. 75 in the previous 90 sounds like a question for the interview to me, just like having a first class medical (I think I read somewhere that someguy only had a second and had his interview yesterday).

Quote: Definitely! Just because you do happen to land an interview with them doesn't mean much of anything. There were a few guys in my group that didn't make it through the interview and were sent home early. Even if you sign a conditional letter of employment doesn't mean you have the job. I've read that people were rejected even after signing the letter... So just keep applying and looking elsewhere while you wait.
Good luck to all!
Yup... as i've said many a times before. The all the conditional letter means is that HR didn't absolutely hate you... The point of having the letter is to make you feel like you've got some sort of commitment to the company. Granted it doesn't make much of a difference these days, but back when everyone and they're mom was hiring it did, and I suppose the continue to do it because thats what they've always done. If you get the letter your chances are about 50/50.

Not sure if this is true or not, but had a friend mentino to me that his interview was cancelled on Dec 3rd? Don't know the reason why, got the interview then a call saying his was cancelled due to fact that other applicants were further qualified than him?

Mesaba Upgrades?
Does anyone know what the upgrade time is if you come in as a new hire and already have ATP and company upgrade min's??

its long enough right now that you probably shouldnt be concerned with it. The last person to get upgraded was had a seniority number in the 740s, and there are currently 1145 pilots here right now. The best you can do is what i do, just keep a bid for any captain, any base, any a/c and wait until your turn rolls around.
