Default ASA overstaffed- LOL where?

I guess all of the over staffing everyone always talks about has to be on the 200 because this is the 5th day in a row that I've looked at the reserve bucket for 700 FO's and we are at bare bones coverage.(actually it's pretty much been like that every time I've looked at the list for the past 4 mos.) I would love to hear from some 200 FO's on what kind of staffing you guys have on your list.
Well just my thought for the morning!!!

56 on today's list. Yesterday was the shortest I'd seen in in a long time, though. (I didn't count the folks yesterday.)

Couple of min coverage days coming up for us.. 3 days showing in December.

Still.. overstaffed? Make your conclusion and I'll make mine. I drove in to work once this month so far.

Just 3 days at min coverage in a month would be nice. Every day I have asked for for the last three months has been denied due to min coverage; and I haven't been asking for weekends or holidays off. But then again, at Horizontal pilots don't get access to the actual coverage numbers so they are probably lying to me.

Yeah it's funny, they use to say the 700 was the senior a/c and it took over a year to hold a line. Well now that I am coming over from the ATR I should have went to the 70 instead of the 50 because I would be holding a line RIGHT NOW on it, while on the 50 I will be like 40 #s away from holding a line. Hoping that when summer rolls around I will be able to hold a line, and if I do that means I will have sat reserve for over 12 months before getting a line.

stay on the 50 please!! haha It will most likely be way over a year before I even come close to a line on the 70. Each month my seat number keeps going down and I think there are about 18 or so guys in training for the 70 from the ATR that will jump into the middle of the pack.

Buddy of mine started with SKW last November and he won't hold a line until next summer. That's over 19 months on reserve................in ORD!?!?!?!! Plus he was on reserve for over 12 months before that at MAG. It could be worse………….you’re not furloughed.

BTW, we are all in the same boat. Long live the king……………I mean Jerry.

Oh yeah I am in no way complaining about being on reserve, like you say I am just happy to have a job at the moment. It just frustrating to see ppl from Mesaba and such who sat reserve for maybe a month rub their monthly endeavors in the face of people like me that really irritates me. Great you barely sat reserve, but why don't you show some class while you are at. Everyone is going to have to sit reserve sometime in their career. If it isn't now, it most certainly will be later on down the road in your career.

Man I Know what you mean! I work at ASA and sat Reserve 2 months... oh wait...

Its all about timing man. I am sure that I will end up sitting reserve at some point in my life...

PS hire date was 6/07 on the 50. Dec sched is 3 days, 18 days off and 83 hours.
