Mesa TA passes

All votes are in. The New TA passed. There were 818 pilots who voted. (76.18%) 418 for (51.1%) and 400 against (48.9%). A very close vote.
New negotiations start September 2010. Enjoy.

418 yea
400 nay

Where can I get an "I VOTED NO" sticker?

seafeye 12-10-2008 07:44 AM

I've said it all before...........

This is how it is alll going to play out...

JO has to sell the TA to mesa. And he will be telling the pilots that either they take the TA or they will be out of a job. WWJD?

So the TA will pass, Mesa will be at the bottom once again. Mesa pilot saved their jobs, abiet with a gun to their heads.

JO can then get financing because of the "Industry Leading Contract". Beneficial to management only.

Mesa pays off the law suits with the newly invested money. Goes about getting new contracts because he can now undercut all other airlines with his low labor costs.

JO gives himself a big bonus for saving Mesa and retires.

We all go on hating Mesa till 2014 when they have the guns to their heads once again...

So if i was u and had some extra money, i would buy mesa stock. They are a cockroach and will not die. Double your money by Feb.

Is that a response to Two Girls One Cup?

Who actually counted these votes anyway? Is it possible JO had an evil hand in this? 18 votes...Demand a recount.

Well they had their chance to shed the stigma. I feel sorry for the no camp as they now have to endure this embarassment for another xxx years. Before I was compelled to refute the mesa bashing, now I will simply watch on the sidelines. For all the no voters may you find greener pastures. Yeah go Alpa. PS I want my merger fund $ back.

I don't work for MESA (military guy) but I have followed this TA very closely...It's kept my attention of what the industry is turning into. For those 400 who voted no - It's a pleasure sharing the skies above FL180 with you. For those who voted yes - don't fly too close to those warning areas.
