@$%^&#$%.

THIS is why I left, not because I was afraid of standing up to JO (I was looking forward to it) but because I had a gut feeling that too many of my fellow "professionals" at mesa would fold under pressure. I OBVIOUSLY made the right decision, but I was hoping for a different outcome.

Pathetic.

New negotiations start September 2010. Enjoy.

Being that the TA passed and I know very little about the details, does anyone know (or care to speculate) if the new TA will create a need to bring back the 15 recently furloughed pilots and the 49 furloughed during training?

Well we just voted in PBS. The general concensus is that PBS reduces necessary staffing levels by 10% or so.

Do you guys at least have "block or better now"?

Yes and line Guarantee and CX pay
but it can all be takin away with 60 or 90 days notice if Mesa wants out of PBS

NoJoy 12-10-2008 08:42 AM

It will be highly unlikely that the company would cancel PBS. It saves them big $ every year. If the pilot group decides to get rid of it, they lose block or better and line gurantee.

then why did they tie it on their end?
If all the Pros cost $1 more then PBS saves do you think they will keep it?

The passing of this TA is pathetic. Mesa will continue to be the scum of the regional airlines. I thought we had a chance to gain some respect with this contract.
