Is this true arizonast? Seeing as how you work at NMA.

rlh724 12-30-2008 01:14 PM

maybe not CASS but to my knowledge don't they have J/S privlages with some airlines?

beech_nut 12-30-2008 01:58 PM

When commutair first got it they were going to charge us. Amazingly, they relented and for some reason decided not too.

This is 100% factual information. PW is in the very final stage of joining CASS.

Hmmm well my word is straight from the bird. Have an acquaintence who works there and went into CASS. I can't discuss much further since others just got fired for forming a union and I don't want to put my friend in jeopardy.

Allow these folks on your jumpseats if you can, .... not that I have any control over that anyways but I think it's nice for a group of guys who get treated lower than the dirt we walk on.

name10135 02-01-2009 11:48 PM

CASS is coming to PW/NMA/GS

Most pilots there are good people just trying to do their job and get ready for the next step in their careers.

Nobody still in the pilot group from NMA or GS has done anything wrong to their fallen bretheren and should be left alone.

There are only a few bad apples from the HI operation. And jumpseat wars don't do anybody any good IMO.

If in doubt about someone asking for a ride, ask some questions and makeup your own mind.

Guys you can be dang sure I'd not have any qualms about allowing a guy up front with us. :)

Yay... we're no longer in the jump-seating special Olympics here at 2F.

ToiletDuck 02-02-2009 02:05 PM

AirTran charged, don't know if they still do, but the pilots said it's a luxury not a right. There were issues that someone who's paid for the seat should be allowed to have it which is BS when it's captains authority.

wakebboarder 02-03-2009 07:19 PM

Mokulele airlines in Hawaii charges 20 a month for CASS and they still aren't even in it...
