In the grand scheme of things DAL bennies are pretty good. Take a trip to Europe in the business elite...that will pretty much make up for the extra $150.

That made absolutely no sense. You do trump every ASA person on a mainline flight. You used to be able to use your seniority on an ASA flight. And we DO have priority on our own carriers now.

I'm not griping the priority on mainline. That's fair. I'm griping having to pay $211.25 a year to fly on my own airline when it should (and used to) be free. But as they say "Delta Owns Every Seat On Your Airplanes, Nyah, Nyah".

Ah, the entitlement argument at its finest. Because you make less than me than I should subsidize you? Dude, what planet are you on? I pay I believe $50 per pass rider annually. That has nothing to do with it. You are not Delta, yet you are given passes to ride on Delta. I'm not ASA that's why I don't get to ride before any ASA employee. But I guess we should change the policy to mean any Delta employee rides DOH except for ASA since they earn less? Your argument makes about as much sense as watching Pink Floyd's "The Wall" sober.

Again, find me an airline that doesn't charge an annual pass. I don't like it anymore than you but it is what it is.

I've got a cheap answer. JUMPSEAT. You pay nothing.

It doesn't matter who you are, if your not a Delta employee, ANYBODY (no matter if they are rampers, gate agents, pilots, or FA's) they should get priority over anybody from one of their regional carriers REGARDLESS of DOH. Also, I don't think they should pay or absolutely they should pay less than their regional partners because its THEIR AIRLINE. They keep people like us in jobs....

That has everything to do with it. Why is it fair for you to pay $50 a year for the same seat on an ASA plane I pay $211.25 for? Yet I'm an ASA employee, and you're not.

Re-read my post. I said "I believe" this is what we pay. I don't know exactly what it is. For my wife and parents I think it was something like $200. I don't recall. If you don't like it, talk to your CP, then DO, then VP, right on up the chain of command. Then motivate the union to use negotiating capital on that in the next contract. As with anything, you could gain that but lose something else. Look at the other carriers. Find out what they pay. You may find that you do quite well here.

You sure have all the answers, don't you. It seems YOU don't get it.

I can talk to my management, union, or anyone else I want. DELTA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ME OR WHAT I THINK. So I will no longer care about them, their employees, or their passengers.

Okay Skippy!

Don't familiarize yourself with anyone else's pass privileges. Don't try and understand why you should have priority on ASA and I should have priority on DAL. Just mire in your own mud and hate the world, your passengers, etc.
