Even though I don't care much for Micahel Boyd, I have to agree with most of what he said. If, in fact, there are soon to be 60-75 RJs parked in Arizona, no one's asking what will happen to them. To my knowledge, no one has suggested this. So, here is my prediction:

We will see initially a handful of these RJs converted to freighters. They will feed and extend the reach of carriers like UPS, FedEx and DHL. Once these RJs begin to show their usefulness as freighters, more will be converted and the excess RJ capacity problem will go away. Following them will be alot of current RJ F/Os looking for a quick upgrade. My $.02.

The boxy Shorts and sleek Metros are on their last legs for sure.. Only the Caravans will be around the next 50 years.

An CRJ chock full of freight is likely to happen as the market conditions worsen on the pax side I agree.
