Is anyone familiar with 61.153(c)? No? Let me refresh your memory:

§ 61.153 Eligibility requirements: General.

To be eligible for an airline transport pilot certificate, a person must:

(c) Be of good moral character;

Haven't met a GoJetter yet who deserves the license.
That statement is just dumb.

Tell that to all of the furloughees that have gone to Gojets. My personal rule for posting here is that I don't post anything that I wouldn't say to someone's face. I seriously doubt that you could say that to a Gojet pilot's face.

Yeah and how many Gojetter's have you met? You met one bad apple and the whole place sucks. Every company has a few.

How many Goatjetters have YOU met, In Hoc? He works for TSA, as do I. I've seen more than enough of those scumbags than I care to think about. That whole company is just one big rotten apple, not just one or two bad apples.

Since I've heard Gojets' contract for the American flying will be ending soon...... even besides the 'is it the right thing to do' question, is it a good idea to begin with?

I'm pretty sure Trans States doesn't make you give up your seniority number if you go somewhere, I could be wrong.
The memo said that ASA was trying to negotiate with GoJet so that GoJet wouldn't require ASA pilots to give up their seniority number once hired. That negotiation fell through so ASA pilots will be forced by GoJet to give up their seniority number at ASA once hired.

I heard that Mesaba was also requiring furloughed pilots to give up their seniority numbers once hired.

What I wonder is if they require the same thing of furloughed major pilots and if so what major pilots do while on furlough.
