Its funny how all the Pinnacle threads get closed down by the moderators and don't survive 
Is it the topic, the airline or the people?
Oh well, either way, just thought we should have one going for 9E atleast, so thought of starting a new one. And for the record, I didn't start it to talk about New Hire classes or when pinnacle will resume hiring again since that really seems out of the question atleast for this year... so feel free to talk about anything.

What I'm about to write might get this thread shut too!! Moderators is PNCL management getting to you folks to? the thread that UPS727 closed... did not offend anyone......except those in management. I as a 9E pilot am displeased with the way our management has handled things. We are displacing 30 CA's and I just fielded my JMA call this evening, then come to find out the thread I could express my opinion was closed. I guess our management does have more push than we have pull!!!

well higney good news! I saw some pony feed in mem ops. it was leaking out of one of our negotiators bags as they were heading out for the talks next week. i asked him what it was and he said that they were coming back with a pony and needed something to feed him!
i sent a pm to him.. i guess it fell on deaf ears. oh well.

But for those interested here is the latest and greatest.
Pinnacle freezing executive pay, planning layoffs : Business News : Memphis Commercial Appeal
Couple of notes.
1st Pay freeze for management. Pilots have been on a pay freeze for the last 5 years
2nd Layoffs. 50 people system wide. i was told by some management people that this does not include pilots and even with all the reductions we are still short on the fo' side according to the guy i talked to.
3rd i dont see anymore displacments coming. especially since like the article stated we are almost at a 50/50 split between captains and fo's after the displacement. you always need a few more captains than fo's due to several reasons including vacation, better schedules, etc etc.
