76-70=6
but this is using real math.

Gotta agree with JP on this one. Lots of noise over nothing.

Doesn't the 200 have 50 seats? 76-50=26....thanks for playing. Thats the route I was going. Hopefully you guys bring back your furloughs quick. Wishing ya luck.....

ASA already operates the 70. What game are you playing?

ASA already flies CRJ-700s with 70 seats. The CRJ-900 in Delta livery is scope limited at 76 seats, and ASA flies it on the same pay scale as the CRJ-700. The -200 is a separate pay scale, and our -200 pilots only fly the -200.

Next time fact check before you embarrass yourself.

Wow man, why do you have to come in and ruin a perfectly good thread. I don't see anyone from ASA here beating there chest about this airplane. The one guy that spoke of the "-9" as some like to call it isn't even from ASA. Then someone made a witty comment relating it to the DC-9 as a joke. The rest has to do with Cat II certs, which is a perfectly good point to speak of.

The little pride some of the actual ASA guys are showing on here is well deserved because for the longest time threads were all about how ASA is NEVER going to see a larger aircraft on property. Well, the impossible has occurred.

We at ASA all understand that the payscales have always been for up to 76 seats and the scope of the DCI limits them to 76 seats. It's just something new and interesting to talk about.

Lighten up!

Well I stand corrected. I understand they fly the 700 guy, I just didn't know they didn't fly both. Either way you my friend need to chill before u keep embarrassing yourself with your childish posts.

Does ANYTHING in life make you happy? You complain when other regionals get RJ's that you think should have gone to ASA. And now that ASA is getting some you are still complaining! How's life in FL these days? Sounds like you need to hit the beach and relax!

although I do agree with you that it's just and RJ and the "nine" drivers are no better than us lowly seven or two drivers

So, how is that No Furloughs clause in your contract working out?

Alrighty then. I've refrained from commenting on this site lately...mostly because there is too much bickering going on. I know i sound like a broken record (do i sound like BH?)....but people like SPOILERS are totally worthless. There is ALOT of good info on this site, and im sure it comes in very handy to many people on a daily basis...but people like this guy are just not needed on here. I believe mr spoilers that you do this to get a rise out of people...well good for you. Its pretty entertaining most of the time!

Just in the past few minutes..ive seen your worthless posts about mesa...comair...and now asa. Wait to go tough guy!!!! WHOO HOOOO!!

Now I don't know if you are just some kid wishing you were a pilot or what...but you need to get your facts straight!

AGAIN....as many other people have said...the "Acey 80" as someone recently put it....were not on the seniority list when the "no furlough" clause went into action. So for the rest of us who were on property when the new contract was signed....it is working out just fine thank you very much!

For those who were furloughed...i feel terrible. However, im sure they will be back sooner or later...if they have not moved onto bigger and better things...and i know a few who already have! So good for them!

The 90 isnt about "getting the new shinny metal"...it can represent more than that. It means, for now anyways, that Delta has some confidence in us and are willing to invest in us. It means, that we can open up, or get back, some new routes. It means for now, until we loose some 50's (if it happens), that we have more metal on property...so thats a good thing. May i also remind you that we are gettting 2 50 seaters as well. So in the short term, which is the only thing people can look foward to these days, things are not too bad.

If you have any more bright ideas and/or comments please feel free to discuss them with you flight simulator buddies. ;).

For the rest of you...thank you for posting quality info...this site and your fellow pilots need it!

So far the "No furlough" clause has not been tested. It only applies to pilots that were on property when the contract was signed. The guys that were furloughed were hired after the contract was signed. Maybe if you spent half as much time looking for a decent job as you do complaining on here, you would be happier in life.

Deal or No Deal? ;)

When you call the CRJ-900 the -9 you sound like one of the ERAU/Purdue guys. There's only one -9. The DC-9

I think what he means by "the 9", is in fact the Chicken Nugget Value meal with large fries and drink. He is confusing industry lingo from his old job and his new one.

I think us Boilers have steered clear of the -9 comment.

And who are you to lump everyone into one group? I can bet that there are some idiots who went to your college too. Shall I assume you are one too...?
