I'll agree with the others on this thread.... I'm not a fan of Mesa but I don't think this thread is necessary, we have a thread for when it was 0.06 and now for 0.04, when it drops to 0.03 is someone going to start another thread..... Come on guys

Its definitely a duplicate thread...but I don't think everybody reads through all available posts to determine whether or not they are re-hashing something...nor should they be required to. Free exchange of ideas and all that.
Mesa has 60 days from January 5th to comply with the NASDAQ listing regulations - i.e., it must have an average value of $1.00 or greater for 10 consecutive business days or it will be delisted. They have successfully fought delisting a few times now, but I doubt they will be able to continue. When the stock is finally delisted it will be worthless. So it doesn't matter how cheap it is right now, eventually it won't have an exchange to trade on.
I don't foresee them being able to raise the price to $1.00 any time in the near future. People are looking for bargains right now, but they will steer clear of the airlines because of the lack of ability to raise money. Analysts know our industry is in trouble and it isn't going to turn around any time soon. As a result, nobody is going to touch this stock in the near future. I don't care how savvy the management is.
Then there won't be any more Mesa stock threads at all.

The problem is that lack of an exchange makes it harder...you can't just point and click with scottrade or whatever. This means that mesa stock will be worth less because the average investor or institution will not want to bother with that hassle. Only a few specialist traders might be interested.
But it sure won't help them obtain DIP financing for the BK filing.
