PSC-MSP on a Junglebus is not EAS...! ;)

Agreed. But still, it's a step in the right direction.

That's interesting. I remember airlines from all over the world coming into Moses. Not for scheduled service obviously...just for flight training and such. Especially JAL. Boeing has/had a big presence there as well.

JAL is done at Grant County as of 2/18. We were in the pattern when the last -400 departed for Japan. Great airport to fly in/out of and great people in the tower and at approach.

Hey, is SKW still going into PMD with the EMB or did we discontinue that? I went in there a bunch last summer in the jet....I actually really liked that overnight...good Mexican food nearby.

I did my JAL airplane training at Moses Lake. The Japanese instructors liked Moses Lake living, but the Japanese students...not so much.

We would have two 747's in the pattern at the same time. It was really cool when we did circle to land's at 300 to 400' AGL.

I just looked at Google Earth's photo of MWH and you can see what looks to be one of JAL's 747's on the ramp.

Is there anything to do in Moses Lake on overnights? No offense to anyone from MWH but it doesn’t really look like an exciting town.

Moses Lake contains a broke-ass water park and few good Mexican restaurants. It's less than 30 miles west of The Gorge, which could be worthwhile assuming you time it right and are looking to sin.
