Default PHL Hotel

Anyone here have any suggestions for a good crew hotel? We're on our second one in a very short time and so far my heater doesn't work and the water from the sink and shower looks like it's from a stagnant pond. Fill the sink up and can barely see the drain. We're currently at the Ramada here that's not too far from the airport and hopefully this will be the last time we're here.

Airport Marriott - At the airport (but who cares, none of the other hotels are close to any food or anything anyway).

We stay at the Four Points by Sheraton, 5 mins by van, and not too bad

Most of them by the airport suck...but the Courtyard downtown by Town Hall is pretty nice!

I'm not sure who you're flying for so maybe you've already been at this hotel, but when I was at TSA, we stayed at the Holiday Inn that's basically in the same parking lot as all of the stadiums. It's not all that close to any food or anything and the restaurant in the hotel is horrible. My first night of IOE was in Philly and some drunk baseball fans pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night and everybody had to evacuate for like 45 minutes. Additionally, the hotel shuttle took way too long to pick us up. I would not recommend it. Sorry I can't tell you anywhere decent.

The Ramada 4th floor crew rooms are scary and is probably bad for your health, but the rooms on the 5th floor are not so bad. They do not smell like secks.

There is a Hampton Inn right next to the employee lot. Not 2 miles from the airport. The only food is another hotel and a Ruby Tuesday. There is a train stop across the street as well as bus service to downtown for those with long overnights. As far as I know they offer a $50 crew member rate you'd think the company could negotiate something reasonable, after all they got a deal on pilots.

Try the Holiday Inn Historic District, 4th and Arch Streets. Walking distance to the historic district, pleanty of bars, restaurants, chinatown, and shopping.

Eastwick Station is the train station across from this hotel. The train also runs directly from the airport to downtown Philly, if you have a long overnight ($7, and runs every 20 minutes most days).
