Yea, I've been following his drivel on here...just poking holes in his failboat.

There was an MEC meeting on Monday that had a lot of info and discussion. There is too much to type but there should be another VARS message soon.
Basically, nothing got done. The negotiating team is fed up and the mediator is fed up with the way things are moving as well. They could have 4 sections TA-ed but the company threw in some language on a specific section (System Board) that would basically allow the company to do what they wanted contract or not. It was not acceptable. As of now, another session has not be scheduled.

Did anyone mail the MEC card back to MW? I did yesterday. The latest info didn't have much about what's going to happen with negotiations, sounds like the company is done talking. The proposal was fair, I wonder why they rejected it. Is it really going to come down to a strike? No one wants that.... especially since it's going to continue to make Hulas look like a deadbeat who can't take care of his employees.

But he is a deadbeat that can't take care of his employees, otherwise we wouldn't be in this position. A stike will undoubtedly be hard on us, and being that I am going out on the street in May, I feel as though I have a lot less to lose than those that are above me on the list, but it is more than warranted at this point and I am for whats best for the pilot group as a whole.

I heard the MEC said last week that the financing for GoJet's latest round of airplanes was rejected because of the uncertainty surrounding TSH's future because of the labor strife. Anybody able to confirm that?

Got a call this morning that said the password they gave us in the email is not right and that there is a different password to access the teleconference. Looks like they sent out an updated email with the new password so make sure you get that before trying to call in.
