No call with 7500TT 3300 DHC8 time 2600 DHC8 PIC! Oh well. PS no internal rec and no one walking in my stuff either.

From what I hear, an internal rec is needed to get looked at right now, no matter how much time one has.

Not really.
Fish through 800 resumes from people who are not known, or take an internal rec. from someone? I am not saying I agree with what they are doing, but I see their logic behind it.

True, but we've all met pilots that interview well, but suck to spend anything more than 5 minutes with, much less a four day trip. It's just another way to filter those people out of the pile.
