Default is it possible to work 2 weeks

hello i am new to this forum. i am a low time pilot who would like to fly for a regional and at the same time i own a business off of whose income my family lives. would it be possible to work two weeks on two off or three on two off or some sort of schedule where i am able to dedicate two weeks straight to my business.

Not at any regional that I am aware of. You would need to go fractional (I know Netjets has one week on, one week off but I think it is a senior schedule) and you will more time to be competitive. You may be able to fall into a corporate job that works like this for you, but iit isn't going to be easy. Good luck.

No regionals have this schedule. 121 can't work more than 6 days in a row without a day off, in a nutshell.

Supplmental freight guys do it, however they have "rest" while out of domicile. Most regional contracts prevent that BS.

Ricrohr,

If you work at a regional expect to work something like 4 ON, 3 OFF or 3 ON, 2 OFF, etc. etc. I have seen up to 9 off in a row, however you gotta get lucky.
