If you want to call, call, if you want to email her, email.

It doesn't matter if it's frowned upon, you are co-workers. It's not like they can push you farther down the recall list if they don't like you.

You forget, attitude is everything at PSA in training? They go back to training status and they are still on probation. Thus you make the wrong people mad, they can make a reason to get rid of any pilot. Just saying though, what do I know.

If someone gets "mad" over being asked a question when it is their JOB to answer the question when the phone rings once in seven months from an individual that was put out on the street then the person who is getting "mad" needs a reality check. I really doubt anyone is getting "mad." It's an awfully childish feeling to have. If you actually heard someone say that they want to get rid of people who make them mad because they made a phone call then you need to report that incident to the union so your fellow pilots can be protected from the folley of management goons. Also, the only kind of person who would have an attitude problem is the person who cannot manage themselves at work, and be unable to do their job by answering the phone, and answering a question. I find it hard to believe this is actually going on at PSA, and is more of just speculation from a particular PSA pilot on a public message board.

So, I think the real truth is you are all too worried about everyone's feelings. Also, why do you continually make posts here as if you are speaking for co-workers, your fellow furloughed pilots, and some management types at PSA?

The pilots returning to work are not new hires, and there is no reason for anyone to fear, or be worried about how their attitudes are perceived to be in the training department. It is cooperate to graduate, and be a professional aviator. Nothing less. This is the real world, and we are line pilots. The touchy feely office politics of the cubically challenged do not belong.

Nobody is out to get anyone, it's all in your head.

If you are going to quote me, get things right. I never said I heard anyone. However you placed on this forum that they are comming back and should not worry about anything. Fact is until 1 year of longevity has been completed, none of us are protected.

Who said I was speaking for anyone? Its a thought and thus a public forum. You are the one who is on a computer, behind a screen name and will not identify yourself in a PM to a fellow co-worker.

You just said two opposite things in this. You said they have nothing to worry about, no reason to fear anyone and or how their thoughts are percieved I assume while they are in class. However again until 1 year is completed, they are back in trainining. They are back to trainee status and not LINE pilots. They must get requalified in the aircraft as well. Thus none of us comming back, are LINE pilots via the companys system. We come back as trainee pilots. But again, like I said what do I know. Apparently you, and one other know everything about PSA.

You are right, I gave false information on the 2nd round of recalls getting phone calls on the 20th of April? Oh wait they indeed got their letters and calls on April 20th for the May 11th class. Which if I remember right, is what I indeed was referring to and was correct about. But again, what do you know? Oh wait I just quoted that above with your own words.

Thumbs up

Attitude is everything. It can make or break an upgrade or initial.
Plus a good attitude can give you an extra sim if you need it.
The PSA training dept is Outstanding. If you have a question just ask.
Now when you get on the line, learn the reserve contract inside and out. And don't do anyone favors (Scheduling). No matter what it will take you 1.5 hrs to get to the airport. No Exceptions. Management want to live hard and fast by the contract and we must see to it we do. Only 3 nights in a row. Only 10 hrs of HOT Reserve. Not 10:15. If you think your being screwed let someone know. WELCOME BACK
