Only if you're talking jumpseats.

you know, as annoying as the CRJ can be sometimes, fuel, cramped, whatever.....the most annoying thing is that it isn't flown by the company whose name is on the side. Let it be an RJ if it fits the amount of people but let it be flown by mainline.

Someone touched on it earlier, but we have at 9E ATL-TISX which clocks in at 7:59 (surprise) for an out-and-back on the CR9. Thankfully we are fed well. I am someone who doesn't like having that flight deck door open, and unfortunately it is opened about 6 times on that day.

Okay - I'll bite. I am not as savvy as you jet jocks. What the heck is TISX?

How can you guys say that sitting in the back of an RJ for 4 hours is any worse than sitting in the middle row on a mainline flight for 4 hours? I'm not even a big guy but I'd sit 5 hours on an RJ just to not be in the middle row for 3 hours on an airbus.

Couldn't agree more. Sitting in a middle seat is downright miserable, unless you're sitting next to people you know.

i would rather take a middle airbus seat than a jacked up crj seat for the same amount of time. nothing worse than having the seat lean back in the middle of my back and having to look down to see out the window designed for a midget.
