Because it burns 5-10% less fuel than the comparable E-Jet, plus they take advantage of the existing economies of scale the CL65 already has in the Delta system.

The E-Jet is better for passenger comfort, but the CRJs provide a cheaper ticket.

I think saab2000 and xtreme are correct, I hope these don't show up, but atleast we're ready for them, with a decent pay rate. I don't want them simply because United has guys out on the street and this comes at their jobs. Sucks.

My bet is they will sell it to the airline that will pay someone 16 grand a year to fly it. Oh wait, that's every regional airline.

Just got on here tonight after months away. This is old news, I thought this was discussed months ago. To recap, about 7-9 months ago on the bombardier site where they update the goings on up there with new projects; A new update came out, for 1-2 days they had the foreign carriers listed and for the US they had SkyWest listed. A couple of days later it was changed back to an undisclosed US Airline. That being said, I'll believe it when I see it.
